Originally
yellow and cream, a revised livery of blue, yellow and cream was applied
around 1987. At this time a considerable amount of aluminium bodywork
trim was replaced with rubber trim. Following the sale of the Northern
Scottish company to Stagecoach in 1991, NPE102 became 164 in the Stagecoach
fleet and eventually gained the Stagecoach stripes on the exterior with
the seats re-trimmed to standard Stagecoach specification. Withdrawn in
March 1999 it was purchased for preservation. Although unused since 1999
the vehicle has been tested annually. |
