1980 Leyland Leopard PSU3F/4R Alexander "T" type 49 seat coach. JSA 102V was the second of a batch of 5 "T" types purchased by W Alexander and Sons (Northern) Ltd during 1980. First registered on 16th June 1980 JSA101-105V were allocated fleet numbers NPE101-105. NPE 102 was allocated to the Buckie depot, where it operated for most of its working life.

Originally yellow and cream, a revised livery of blue, yellow and cream was applied around 1987. At this time a considerable amount of aluminium bodywork trim was replaced with rubber trim. Following the sale of the Northern Scottish company to Stagecoach in 1991, NPE102 became 164 in the Stagecoach fleet and eventually gained the Stagecoach stripes on the exterior with the seats re-trimmed to standard Stagecoach specification. Withdrawn in March 1999 it was purchased for preservation. Although unused since 1999 the vehicle has been tested annually.

It has recently undergone a body overhaul and full repaint in its original livery, with all new aluminium trim replacing the non original trim. At present the exterior only requires the application of appropriate Northern Scottish transfers to return the coach to near original specification. Internally the seats will eventually be recovered in the original style moquette.
