The 2007 Event Rules:-
The rules laid down by the organisers are to be adhered
to throughout the event, and are to ensure as much as possible
the safety of those taking part and others.
* All speed restrictions must be adhered to at all times
during the event.
* To avoid any frustration, vehicles will leave the start
in groups of five/six and participants should, where possible
try and pull in and allow other road users to overtake, thus
minimising any potential delays and avoiding a convoy situation
with unnecessary grouping of vehicles.
* During the event participants should avoid overtaking
other participating vehicles unless the other vehicle is stationary.
* Marshals are provided in the interest of safety to assist
in the parking and movement of vehicles and participants should
co-operate fully with any instructions. But all drivers are responsible
for safety and security of their own vehicles.
* All owners are solely responsible for ensuring their
vehicle meet all relevant legal requirements and must be insured
against third party risks.
* There are sufficient refuelling points on the route.
* All entries must be in a clean, complete and safe working
order.
* No vehicles should be left running unattended.
